Allah selected Islam for all kinds
of people in the world. Allah Said, ‘Who investigates religion without Islam?
Never taken this religion from him and he will damage in Akhirat’. Allah Ta’ala
sent many prophets to preach the Islam age by age. After departure of our holy
prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa sallam) the continuation of
coming prophets was ended. For this the great responsibility of preaching Islam
was given on Sahaba’ e keram, Tabeyi, Tabe Tabeyi and Awlia-e keram. Before the
holy departure of awlia- keram this Indian Sub-continent was sang in
disappointed. So, some awlia- keram preached Islam or saving disappointed
people. In the magnificent sea of awlia-e keram Hazrat Ahmad Shah Sirikoti was
a bright pearl. He showed the right path of sunniat to the people of
Bangladesh, Pakistan and Yangon. He saved the Muslim people from Batil sects by
preaching Islam. If he didn’t come in Bangladesh, We would sink in disappointed.
Holy Brith: Kutubul Awlia, Baniye Jamea Hazrat
Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) was born at Sirikot of Hazara
district of north east frontier province of Pakistan in Hizri 1271/72, 1852
A.D. He was the 39th offspring of our holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). His father name was Syed Sadar Shah (Rahmatullahi
Alaihi). He was the Awlad-e Rasul of Imam Hossain ( Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhu).
Educational life: He memorized the holy Quran in his
childhood. After that, he acquired many knowledge in Quran, Hadith, Fiqh,
Wassol-e Fiqh, Naho, Saraf, Mantiq, Akaid and Philosophy. He also acquired deep
knowledge in Tafsir of the holy Quran and Hadith. He could not satisfied by
this knowledge. So he went to the capital city, Delhi in India. He studied
there in some Madrasahs. He studied higher class of those Madrasah. After that,
he went to Africa continent which was very far from his homeland.
Character: From his boyhood, Hazrat Ahmad Shah
Sirikoti (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) possessed a moral and pure character. He was
self-reliant and kind hearted. He never showed temper with any person. Without
this, he had not any kinds of bad habits like oppress, nepotism and
malpractice. He conquered the hearts of people by his talking, behaviour and
humanity. His main aim was to find satisfaction of Allah and His prophet
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). If his character reflects to us, we shall be a
native person.
Setting his holy feet in Chittagong: Awlia-e keram travels many places
to preach Allah’s message and prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam)’s Hadith. When a nation sinks into darkness, at that time, awlia-e
keram goes there to show people the right path. Like this, the terrible time of
people in Chittagong, the founder of the ‘Daily Azadi’ newspaper, Abdul khalek
engineer requested Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti ( Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhu) to come
in Chittagong. So, Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhu) set
his holy feets in the land of Chittagong in 1937 A.D. After setting his holy
feet in Chittagong he removed all kinds of Batil sects. He established there
Asia – known sunni religious educational institution Jamea Ahmadia Sunnia Alia,
Chittagong. From this Madrasah every year exit many Alem-e Din. They serve a
great service for sunniat. Hazrat Ahmad Shah Sirikoti gave great teaching of
Shariat and Tarikat. He was well-known as many names in Chittagong. He was
known as ‘Shimantopir’ in south Chittagong. Because his birth land was in the
frontier province. But he was famous as ‘Peshwari Saheb’. Somewhere he was
known as ‘Sirikoti Saheb’. In a word, he was a well-known person in all over
the Chittagong.
Taking Bayat and gaining khilafat : He
acquired extraordinary knowledge in many subjects of Shariat and Tariqat . But
he could not think himself a perfect person. So, he searched murshid (guide)
for earning Bateni (hidden) knowledge. Once his wife informed him, “There is a
great saint named Abdur Rahman Chowravi (Radi allahu anhu)’’. So, Hazrat Syed
Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Rahmatullahi
Alaihi) went to Hazrat Abdur Rahman Chowravi (Radi Allahu Anhu) to see
him . When he looked him for a single moment, his heart leaps up with joy. Once
Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radi Allahu Anhu) requested Hazrat Abdur
Rahman Chowravi (Radi Allahu Anhu) to accept him as a Murid (disciple). Hazrat
Abdur Rahman Chowravi (Radi allahu anhu) accepted him as a Murid. After
accepting him as a Murid he started to do difficult work for his Murshid’s satisfaction.
He went to the high hills of Sirikot Sharif to collect fuel wood and he brought
that through his head. He performed this work continually for 12 years. At
first, Hazrat Abdur Rahman Chowravi (Radi Allahu Anhu) didn’t talk anything for
that work. At last, he forbade Hazrat Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radi allahu anhu)
for that work. Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radi Allahu Anhu) disliked to
abandon from company of Hazrat Abdur Rahman Chowravi (Radi Allahu Anhu). After
few days, absence arose on his mind. So, he couldn’t do any work. After operation,
this absence took nine months to be well. He showed his disciples the spot of
absence and said, “This is my murshid given symbol” Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah
Sirikoti (Radi Allahu Anhu) became a great saint by worshipping Allah and many
other works. So Hazrat Abdur Rahman Chowravi (Radi allahu anhu) gave khilafat
to his dearest murid Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radi Allahu Anhu)
The incident of Bashkhali and establish of
Jameya madrsah: There was a famous Aleem-e Din who was lived at Bashkhali
in Chittagong district, he realize the establishing of sunniyat at Bashkhali,
there is need for Huzur kibla Hazrat Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radi allahu anhu). So
he invited Huzur kibla at Bashkhali. The ceremony was started. He recited
Innallaha wa malaiktahu yu salluna alan nabiyyi ya ayyuhallazina amanu sallau
alaihi wa sallimu taslima. But no person send Darood sarif to Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. He become angry and he also upset. He realized
that the people of Bashkhali were rounded by Batil sects. So, there was very,
necessary to establish a sunni madrasah. Next morning, he called all of his
discples and ordered them to search a place where situated a mosque and pond
and that place was situated neither town nor in village. So, everyone started
to search such a place. Many people proposed many lands. At last, Alhaj Nur
Muhammad Al-quaderi (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) came with Huzur kibla in a place
where now Jamia Madarasah is situated. No sooner had Huzur kibla seen the place
then he smiled. He said that the smell of knowledge went out from that place.
He also said that I must make there a Madrasah. Nur Muhammad Al-Quaderi
(Rahmatullahi alaihi) arranged iron to build up Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Alia
Madrasah. From this Madrasah students are taking essential steps for saving
sunniyat.
Holy Departure: Qutubul Awliya, Baniye
jamia, Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radi Allahu Ta’la Anhu) passed away
from this mortal earth on the 11th Jilqad (Thursday) in Hijri 1380
(1961) at the age of 109. Sher-e Bangla Allama Azizul Haque said that the
departure of Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radiyallahu Tayala Anhu) like the
death of the earth.
After all we can
tell that Hazrat Syed Ahmad Shah Sirikoti (Radiyallahu Ta’la Anhu) was a great
saint and famous pious. If we maintain the orders and forbid of Sirikoti Hujur
(Radiyallahu Ta’la Anhu) we can become a right person of sunniyat and will able
to wave the flag of sunniyat.
